What Happens at a Meetup?
NihongoKnow Meetups are for people who are actively learning Japanese and want opportunities to use the language with other learners.
These are not language-exchange or dating events. Our meetups are designed around Japanese learning, communication, and shared experiences.
Most of our meetups are organized by Japanese level, so participants should already have some experience learning Japanese and be able to participate in the activities at the level of the event.
Currently learning with NihongoKnow?
You’re welcome to join the meetups available for your level.
At NihongoKnow, students begin using Japanese from the start. Within just a few weeks, many students are already able to ask questions and communicate using Japanese, helping them participate in our Japanese-speaking environment.
Learning Japanese on your own?
You’re welcome too.
However, our meetups are generally conducted primarily in Japanese, not English, so we recommend contacting us first to make sure the meetup is a good fit for your current level.
