Why Most People Can’t Speak ?
Do you know what it actually takes to speak a language?
Most learners study vocabulary and grammar diligently, memorizing lists, mastering conjugations. But speaking isn’t knowledge you memorize. It’s a skill you build.
Think about learning the piano. You don’t become a pianist by reading sheet music alone. You need to play, hit the wrong notes, and repeat it until your fingers move without thinking. Japanese works the same way.
Here’s the part most people miss: you can’t build that skill alone.
A pianist needs someone to say “your timing is off here” or “try this fingering instead,” in real time, while it still matters. Without that feedback, mistakes don’t get corrected, they get memorized. And practicing alone means there’s no one to push you past the point where you’d normally stop.
That’s exactly what a class gives you that self-study can’t: a coach watching in real time, and a reason to actually open your mouth.
Grammar and vocabulary get you to the piano bench. Real practice, with real feedback, is what makes you a player.
