First Step : Basic Hiragana
Welcome to your first step in learning Japanese! In this section, you’ll start with the five basic vowels (あ, い, う, え, お) and gradually learn the first few consonant-based Hiragana sounds. You’ll practice reading, writing, and pronouncing each character while using memory hints to make learning easier. By the end of this step, you’ll have a solid foundation in Hiragana and be ready to move on to the next level!
Now that you know the basics, it’s time to master the full Hiragana chart! In this section, you’ll learn all remaining Hiragana characters, including special sounds like dakuten (が, ざ, だ, ば, ぱ), handakuten, small ゃ, ゅ, ょ, and small っ. Through fun exercises and pronunciation practice, you’ll become confident in reading and writing all Hiragana. Once you complete this step, you’ll be fully equipped to read basic Japanese words and sentences!
